The Étang du Puits is a forest lake in the heart of the Orléans State Forest, on the commune of Nogent-sur-Vernisson. With its wooded banks and calm waters, it offers an ideal setting for fishing, walking and nature watching.

The site has facilities for the public: car parks, footpaths, picnic tables and purpose-built fishing platforms.

From Nogent-sur-Vernisson village centre, follow the D93 towards the forest. Signs indicate the Étang du Puits.
